Hi, I’m The NAS Guy. This site is where I make sense of cloud, storage and backup, from the NAS under your desk to disaster recovery in the cloud.
What you’ll find here
- Plain-English explainers on NAS, RAID, backup strategy, ransomware recovery and cloud storage.
- A daily news feed from the AWS News Blog and the Veeam Software blog, collected automatically and always credited to the original publisher.
- Practical takes on what the announcements actually mean for homes, small businesses and IT teams.
How the news feed works
Articles from AWS and Veeam are pulled in hourly from their public RSS feeds. Each one links back to the original, which is where the full, authoritative version lives. Opinions on this site are my own and don’t represent any vendor.
