Everpure and Veeam Deepen Global Alliance: New Milestones in Cyber Resilience, Platform Integration, and Kubernetes Data Protection

This week Everpure and Veeam Software announced several key joint innovations that we have been working on over the last 12 months. These announcements will usher in the next phase of our integrated cyber resilience capabilities.

Enterprise cyber resilience is increasingly defined by three requirements:

  1. Operational simplicity (cloud-like consumption and automation)
  2. Deep platform integration (security signals, cyber resilience orchestration, and automated storage workflows)
  3. Modern workload coverage (including Kubernetes and cloud-native applications)

Everpure and Veeam are addressing all three requirements, spanning storage fleet visibility, automated storage anomaly workflows, Kubernetes-native data protection, and managed services delivery models.

Pure1 + Veeam Incident API: automated storage anomaly workflows

Released in March 2026, the Pure1 Veeam Anomaly Awareness Workflow integrates the Pure1 workflow platform with the Veeam Incident API to support storage anomaly detection workflows.

Veeam Anomaly Awareness Workflow:

  1. Pure1 detects abnormal storage/data patterns (e.g., indicators aligned with ransomware or corruption scenarios).
  2. Pure1 sends signals into the Veeam Incident API.
  3. Veeam Data Platform triggers a coordinated response workflow to accelerate identification and recovery orchestration.

Key benefits

  • Faster threat response via automated signal flow into Veeam workflows
  • Reduced mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to recover (MTTR)
  • A more unified security posture across infrastructure + cyber resilience layers
  • Reduced manual intervention for IT operations teams

Why this matters:  Veeam Incident API enables Pure1 workflows to programmatically quarantine/flag compromised restore points and orchestrate targeted backups and recoveries, accelerating ransomware containment and clean restore workflows.

Cyber Resilience Delivered as-a-Service (CRaaS)

Everpure and Veeam introduced a joint cyber resilience as-a-Service offering that lets enterprises consume data protection in a service model, while keeping data on-premises.

How it works (from a delivery perspective):

  • Delivered through our Channel Partner ecosystem, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and Global Systems Integrators (GSIs)
  • Uses joint certifications across the Everpure + Veeam licensing
  • Aligns operational delivery with enterprise recovery and compliance needs

Technical/operational outcomes:

  • Cloud-like consumption without losing on-premises data sovereignty
  • Reduced operational burden via managed monitoring, patching, and policy management
  • Service tiers mapped to recovery SLAs and compliance controls

Why this matters: This offering is designed for customers wanting an OPEX consumption model, but with compliance constraints of keeping customer data on-premises.

Enterprise Data Cloud (EDC) Fleet Management Integration (coming soon)

Announced at Pure Accelerate 2026, Everpure and Veeam will be integrated with Everpure EDC Fusion fleet management. This will be delivered with an updated Veeam Universal Storage API (USAPI) plug-in soon after Veeam Data Platform V13.1 is generally available.

With this upcoming Everpure USAPI plug-in release, customers can:

  • Register a Fusion fleet once and have all FlashArrays discovered
  • Automatically discover additional arrays and objects, including:
  • Volumes
  • Storage snapshots
  • VMware datastores

Protect and manage these objects in Veeam Data Platform as a consolidated inventory.

Why this matters:

  • Eliminates repeated array onboarding and fragmented visibility
  • Enables policy design against Fusion fleet-level objects, which helps reduce configuration sprawl
  • Improves confidence that new infrastructure is discovered and protected as estates grow
  • Includes support for Linux-based Veeam Software Appliance (VSA) deployment, extending coverage to Veeam Data Platform Linux environments

Portworx Enterprise + Kasten: Integrated Kubernetes-native data protection

The Everpure and Veeam integrated solution will also extend to cloud-native environments via integration between Portworx Enterprise by Everpure (Kubernetes storage and data management) and Veeam Kasten (Kubernetes backup/DR and application mobility)

Target use cases

  • Protecting containerized and modern virtualization workloads with Kubernetes-native tooling
  • Migration and recovery workflows for platform engineering and DevOps teams
  • Consistent confidence levels comparable to traditional infrastructure protection

Why this matters:

Everpure Portworx Enterprise and Veeam Kasten integration will deliver direct, API-based changed block tracking for modern virtualization workloads (e.g. Red Hat OpenShift VMs).
